A data \u00e9 lembrada no mundo todo, por meio de a\u00e7\u00f5es de conscientiza\u00e7\u00e3o sobre a import\u00e2ncia de adotar um estilo de vida fisicamente mais ativo<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Yara Ach\u00f4a, Fitness Brasil<br>6\/4\/2022<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Com o objetivo de lembrar que o sedentarismo \u00e9 um alto fator de risco para a sa\u00fade, <strong>a Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o Mundial da Sa\u00fade (OMS) instituiu 6 de abril como o Dia Mundial da Atividade F\u00edsica.<\/strong> A data \u00e9 celebrada h\u00e1 20 anos por diversos pa\u00edses, com a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de <strong>v\u00e1rias a\u00e7\u00f5es de conscientiza\u00e7\u00e3o sobre a import\u00e2ncia de adotar um estilo de vida fisicamente mais ativo.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>O Dia Mundial da Atividade F\u00edsica \u00e9 uma iniciativa da OMS e da Agita Mundo<\/strong> \u2013 Rede Mundial de Atividades F\u00edsicas, grupo de institui\u00e7\u00f5es governamentais e n\u00e3o governamentais internacionais. As entidades se esfor\u00e7am para disseminar os benef\u00edcios da ado\u00e7\u00e3o de um estilo de vida mais ativo e saud\u00e1vel praticando alguma atividade f\u00edsica diariamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A atividade f\u00edsica regular \u00e9 fundamental para prevenir e tratar doen\u00e7as cr\u00f4nicas n\u00e3o transmiss\u00edveis <\/strong>(DCNTs), como as card\u00edacas, acidentes vasculares cerebrais, diabetes e c\u00e2ncer de mama e de colo do \u00fatero. Mais tarde, o programa cresceu para o que \u00e9 hoje: Agita Mundo \u2013 World Physical Activity Network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por meio dos esfor\u00e7os do Agita Mundo, a Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o Mundial da Sa\u00fade (OMS) reconheceu formalmente 6 de abril como o Dia Mundial da Atividade F\u00edsica em 2002, e o dia tem sido celebrado desde ent\u00e3o com milhares de eventos em todo o mundo.
